January 18, 2024 marked a significant milestone for the ATE230028 Anillo Project with the holding of its second session. This meeting focused on exploring and delving into the (eco)²-cultural practices of rural communities, especially in how they respond and adapt to the challenges posed by climate change.
Context and Discussion
During the meeting, the growing concern about how changes and the loss of biodiversity are affecting various sociocultural and socioeconomic aspects of the communities we work with was addressed. The project team, composed of researchers from the Universidad Católica del Maule, the Universidad de Concepción, and other associated institutions, discussed mitigation and adaptation strategies aimed at preserving the (eco)²-cultural heritage in our changing environmental landscape.
Diversity and Commitment
The meeting not only reflected the diversity of the involved communities but also the richness of perspectives brought by participants of different ages and genders. This joint effort underscores the project's determination to foster a sustainable and resilient future.
Looking to the Future
We are committed to ensuring a green and equitable legacy for future generations. This meeting is another step towards achieving our goals, setting the direction the project will take in the coming months.

We thank all participants and collaborators who contribute to making the ATE230028 Anillo Project an example of commitment to sustainability and applied research. Your active participation is crucial for the success of our initiatives.
